The DFES Education and Heritage Centre will be holding their Annual Open Day on Sunday 21st October from 10am to 3pm.
Visit Perth’s first fire station and experience the history of Western Australian fire services.
Heritage Days visitors can participate in a number of special activities and will have a unique opportunity to experience our emergency services.
Riding in a Vintage fire engine Seeing vintage fire engines and heritage displays Dressing up as a firefighter and sitting in our modern fire engine Listening to the WA Fire and Emergency Services Band Immersing yourself in the RAC Rescue helicopter experience Meeting the Urban Search and Rescue Canines and State Emergency Services Mounted Section Talking to DFES volunteer services and checking out the equipment on display Enjoying a sausage sizzle by the Salvation Army Emergency Services catering unit, small charge.
